The role will include sorting donations, ragging clothes, loading and unloading the vans, caging items to be distributed to our other charity shops, working with other sorters as a team. For more information please email volunteer@thestreet-angels.org.

We are looking for volunteer drivers who would be willing to drive our fridge/transit vans to deliver items and collect donations. If you can offer a few hours in the mornings when most collections and deliveries take place, are over 25 and have a full driving licence, please email: volunteer@thestreet-angels.org

On Saturday 15th January our charity shop, 1-5 King Street Gillingham ME7 1EY, was opened. We are pleased to have Kim West, formally of the Strood Community Project, join us as the shop manager. We are looking for more shop volunteers, so if you are interested pop in and Kim will be more than happy to chat with you.

Medway Adult Education are looking for additional volunteers to work in our supported learning classes. We offer a range of subjects for learners who have learning/physical or other support needs. Duties will be assisting the tutor and learning support assistant with practical subjects or to support written work as directed by the tutor. Classes run term time only throughout the week. Good communication skills and a willingness to undertake training essential.
All posts are subject to a DBS check (provided) and minimum qualifications in literacy and numeracy.
