Hoo Peninsula Cares CIC, also known as
wHoo Cares, have unveiled a new programme which aims to create opportunities to help improve the skills, knowledge, and well-being of local residents.
Making a Difference is a FREE employability Programme from wHoo Cares and is designed to help the local community whilst supporting them to learn new skills, boost their employability prospects and improve their well-being.
Offering Access to FREE training and specialist support, and backed by
Medway Together (part of UK Government’s
Community Renewal Fund investment programme), the scheme from wHoo Cares offers many opportunities including:
- Access to free online courses
- CV writing and Interview skills
- Access to their volunteer training programme which covers subjects like Safeguarding, Health & Safety
and Manual Handling
In addition, through the Medway Together programme, wHoo Cares say they can
also offer a range of free health and well-being activities to help attendees feel confident, motivated, and renewed.
