The Asda Foundation has launched a new grants programme to help small grassroots organisations improve local community spaces and places across the UK.
The
Investing in Spaces and Places Grant will provide
funding of up to £25,000 to help with:
- Building repairs,
- Building improvement or development, and
- The outdoor improvement or development of owned or rented properties run by community organisations
The Foundation says the moneys applied for can include costs for
materials,
tradespeople, and
equipment
purchase or rental.
With funding awarded on a regional basis, The Foundation does advise that 50% match funding is required, and that groups should contact their local Asda store’s
Community Champion to discuss their project.
Nominations will be made by each local Champion by the 9th January 2022.
For
more information and
how to apply,
contact your local store champion or visit the Asda Foundation
