Lightening Reach Portal
The web portal from
Lightening Reach (LR) aims to help visitors find and apply for support from multiple providers quickly and easily.
Built during the pandemic, this portal offers information and access to grants, local schemes, and discounted tariffs to those struggling financially and need help with money.
LR say
by creating a one-time profile which can be used to access a range of support,
visitors can apply for a tailored range of support from their
growing list of trusted providers.
LR say they will be
adding new providers over time, which visitors can check to see if they are eligible to apply for and benefit from their support by signing up and completing a profile.
They also provide list of emergency assistance and support for those facing urgent and difficult circumstance and may require some immediate assistance or advice.

Citizens Advice - Cost of Living Help
National organisation
Citizens Advice provide a comprehensive range of different forms of help, further guidance, and links to support people struggling through the cost-of-living crisis.
This guidance covers various topics including details about
benefits people can qualify for, Local
Council and Government funding, help with
essential costs, charitable grants, help for pension holders and
more.

Citizens Advice Medway (CAM) continue to provide help and support to local people in crisis or who are struggling to afford essentials in these challenging times.

Cost of Living Support from Companies
As part of their
Help for Households scheme, the UK Government recently announced a growing shortlist of companies that are offering support to those struggling financially.
From food and retail to energy suppliers, this growing list shows the offers available from businesses and shops to help with the cost-of-living.

Working to provide resources to support the charity sector achieve and succeed, The Charity Excellence Framework CIO (CEF) offer a growing list of further support for Small Businesses and Enterprise, Community Groups, Charities, and similar organisations nationwide.
