The
Medway Diversity Forum is set to introduce a new programme aimed at offering young adults essential skills and training to give them a better position in the jobs market.
Due to launch shortly,
Creating Life Chances is a programme from the Medway Diversity Forum (MDF) for young adults (16 to 25) and is designed to give them skills needed to impress employers and help them get a well-paid job.
Led by employers, and backed by
Medway Together (part of UK Government’s
Community Renewal Fund investment programme), the scheme from MDF will offer:
- Learning of specific and practical skills that an employer would value
- Meeting employers in their workplace
- Work placement leading to possible employment
- Guarantee of a job interview
Attendees of the Creating Life Chances scheme will also receive a
personal certificate and a bonus for completing the programme.
