Established in 2015,
Orchard Community Energy (OCE) are a group of experienced Kent-based professionals that develop community-owned renewable energy, low carbon and energy efficiency projects in Swale and Medway.
Recently relaunched, OCE say their funding scheme is for projects designed to benefit the people for either the Swale or Medway districts of Kent.
The funding organisers advise they are looking to fund projects that reduce the impact of climate change and increase energy security for the local region.
The organisers are especially interested in funding initiatives that achieve positive environmental and social impacts at the same time; and they have examples of
projects they funded in the past showing interested applicants the type of work they want to fund.
OCE advise the deadline for applications is 31st October 2024, and specify that applications should be returned by email
at ’grants@orchardcommunityenergy.org’.
