Ashley Family Foundation
Grants are available for projects that fit with the Foundation's philosophy for protecting rural communities and encouraging participation in the arts.

Grants are provided to support community museums, farms, gardens, schools and other charitable organisations with small-scale arts and community projects.

The Foundation wants to use its funding to develop strong communities, social welfare, and creative arts.

The Foundation has a particular emphasis on supporting rural communities, so are welcome to applications requests below £10,000.

The Funder advises that applications are accepted all year round, however funding awards are made three times per year following the meeting of the Board of Trustees

More information and how to apply can be found at the Foundation’s website.

Boots Charitable Trust
Grants are available from the Boots Charitable Trust to registered charities working to benefit people in the UK.

While the grant givers look at nominations from all different charities, they say they are particularly interested in hearing from applications whose focus is on the following:
  • Health: Community healthcare, such as homecare or support for sufferers of medical conditions, and health education and prevention
  • Lifelong learning: such as Local literacy and numeracy projects
  • Community development: For example, supporting councils in providing voluntary services
  • Social care: Personal, social or community activities or schemes.
In Addition, they say there is a particular focus within each of these priorities on how the projects demonstrate a commitment to improving diversity, equality and inclusion within the community.

Relaunching in late October, the next Deadline for applications is 30th November 2024, with their Trustee board meeting taking place in January 2025.

For more information and how to apply, visit the Trust’s website.

Bonus Announcement! Health & Social Welfare Funding from The Artemis Charitable Foundation
Grants available from the Artemis Charitable Foundation are designed to support UK-registered charities working in the UK and internationally in the areas of:
  • Health
  • Poverty
  • Education, and
  • The Environment.
The Foundation advises where they normally make one-off awards, they could consider multi-year grants when a successful partnership is established.

They also advise that the award amounts can increase if a successful partnership develops into a multi-year relationship, and that unrestricted funding could also be considered.

At the time of writing, there was no recognised deadline, suggesting this is a Continuous Rolling Programme and applications can be accepted at any time.
