Mid Kent College will be introducing a new programme aimed at helping young adults re-engage with employment, training and more, offering them a stronger position in the jobs market.
Due for release this February,
Get Connected is a new programme from Mid Kent College for those not in education, employment, or training (NEET). It is designed to help them work on improving their job searching, their CV and interview techniques.
Aimed at 19 to 24 year olds, and backed by
Medway Together Project (part of UK Government’s
Community Renewal Fund investment programme), the programme also offers:
- Personal Development awareness
- Digital skills
- Equality and Diversity knowledge
- Mental Wellbeing and Resilience training
- Environmental Sustainability studies
Attendees of the programme will also receive a recognised qualification in either
Adult Healthcare,
Construction
or
Logistics.
