Places are still available to attend MVA’s upcoming Community Update Meeting exploring the local Council’s future plans for Medway.
Medway's Local Plan guides decisions on future development proposals and addresses the needs and opportunities of the area. The topics that Local Plans usually cover include
housing,
employment and
shops.
Sometimes called the Local Development Framework (LDF), The Plan is also important because not only does it cover proposals for where housing developments should take place and areas where development should be restricted, it will also explore whether the appropriate infrastructure is in place, such as GP surgeries, schools and other local and public services, so that Medway can support any planned developments.
Whether a resident or employee in Medway, the Local Plan will impact on everyone.
MVA's upcoming Online Community Update Meeting will host members of the project team to discuss the Local Plan for Medway, giving attendees more information about Medway’s Local Plan and the chance to ask questions and take part in this consultation.
The meeting will take place ONLINE on Friday November 12th between 10am and 11.30am.
