'Supporting Youth Identity - in a world that’s becoming more interconnected, it is right that we should not only recognise the many faces of sometimes complex, but unique identities in a young person’s development, we should support them too.'
The
Medway Youth Council (MYC) are holding a Conference in January 2024 on the theme of identity, focusing on tackling homophobia and racism, and invite local organisations to take part.
As part of this event, MYC say they will have a
marketplace style event with different organisations across Medway.
MYC advises those organisations who would like to take part would
get the opportunity to have a stall and be able to talk to schools and young people
who are attending.
The Conference will take place on 26th January 2024 at Mid Kent College, and organisations wishing to take part can set up from 11.20 with the market taking place from 11.50 - 12.20.
MYC say this would be a brilliant opportunity for everyone who wishes to attend.
